What is PAT Testing and do I need to be tested?
Portable Appliance Testing or PAT testing refers to a process by which electrical appliances used in the workplace are regularly checked and tested to ensure they are safe for use. If you are a business owner then you have a legal responsibility to your employees to ensure that any electrical appliances are regularly tested in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Act 1990.

Yes, please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel you would like your appliances safety checked - whether it be your electrical garden equipment or hair straightners and hair dryers. Don't forget your coffee makers and microwaves too!

On completion of electrical testing and inspection, substantial and comprehensive reports will be provided. These reports will act as evidence to any interested party that you have endeavoured to meet your obligations for electrical safety as required by law.
